President in Cabo Delgado to open agricultural year, close military school year

President Filipe Nyusi arrived in Cabo Delgado yesterday and was greeted by a crowd of thousands at Pemba Airport.
In a speech at the airport, the Mozambican head of state commended the population of the province on the exemplary manner in which they had participated in the municipal elections of October 10.
The president explained that he was once again in Pemba in transit, because on October 25 he is to go to Mpica in Balama district to launch the 2018-19 Agrarian Campaign, whose motto is “to progressively produce positive results in the increase in production and productivity in Mozambique”.
Finally, he announced that on Friday, October 26, he would attend the closing of the Defence Forces of Mozambique military school year in the province.
