Mozambique: Sandura Ambrósio, six more go on trial over Military Junta next week

The trial of former Renamo deputy Sandura Ambrósio is scheduled to begin next week, at 9:00 a.m. on July 10, in the First Chamber of the Judicial Court of Dondo district, Sofala province.
Sandura Ambrósio has been in custody since January, on charges of being one of the financiers of the Military Junta, associated, under the leadership of Mariano Nhongo, with the armed attacks in the provinces of Manica and Sofala since August 2019.
Sandura will be tried along with six other defendants, accused of being recruiters for and members of the Military Junta.
