Airports of Mozambique, the public company responsible for the country’s airports and accountable to the Ministry of Transport and Communications, announced that they processed more than one million passengers in 2015.
Airports of Mozambique director Acácio Tuende said that the one million passenger benchmark was passed on Tuesday, December 29, 2015, and constituted “a source of pride for the company,” highlighting that, internationally, airports “are considered productive when they reach this figure”.
“We, Airports of Mozambique, are proud to say that this time, we have closed the year with a golden key,” adding that the month of December “was the largest contributor to our one million passenger goal”.
