Mozambique: Chapo calls for sustainable development of municipalities

The Minister of National Defence, Atanásio M´tumuke, is to attend the Meeting of Ministers of the Specialised Technical Committee on Defence, Safety and Security of the African Union (AU) in Cairo, Egypt, on December 19, as head of the Mozambican delegation.
The meeting will be preceded by a meeting of experts from the Chiefs of Staff, Police Commanders and Security Directors of the African Continent on 18 December.
According to a statement from the Ministry of National Defence, the meeting aims to review the Report of the Chairman of the African Union Commission; the African Standby Force Legal Framework Project and its Code of Conduct and Discipline during Peace Support Operations; the Peace Support Operations Doctrine Project and the Revised African Standby Force Concept, among other issues, as part of the African Union Defence and Security Architecture.
