Avenida da ONU will be closed to traffic until July 31 for the rehabilitation of roads leading the Maputo-Catembe bridge, according to a statement from the Maputo South Development Company.
Traffic on Avenida 24 de Julho will be subject to restrictions for the same period to allow for the removal of formwork on the ramp connecting the bridge and the city of Maputo.
Maputo Sul has promised that adequate detour signage will be in place and recommends the use of Avenida do Trabalho and National Road Number One (N1) to minimise traffic congestion on Avenida 24 de Julho.
