Covid-19: Mozambique would need $23 million to respond – report

- Deputy National Helth Director says that, at the moment, Mozambique’s national coronavirus response plan has the capacity to assist 100 people.
Mozambique would need US$23 million to respond, at national level, to a possible outbreak of the coronavirus, deputy national director of public health at the Ministry of Health Benigna Matshinhe has said.
At the moment, she said, the national coronavirus response plan has the capacity to assist 100 people.
Matsinhe reassured Mozambicans an society in general, saying the country had still not registered any Covid-19 cases, and that the health sector was on high alert.
