Mozambican students in the People’s Republic of China are all well, despite the outbreak of the coronavirus that had, up to yesterday (Thursday), killed 25 people out of 830 confirmed infections.
The Ambassador of Mozambique to the People’s Republic of China, Maria Gustava, told Radio Mozambique that only one student was prevented, for precautionary reasons, from leaving the city where he is spending the holidays.
Mozambique has many scholarship students attending higher education courses in various Chinese cities in the context of relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Some countries have reacted to the outbreak with panic measures, but Chinese officials are calling for calm.
