Barcelona to help Maputo with urban transport

Maputo and Barcelona have been working together for two years up-grading the Chamanculo C area, where the new main cooperation axes will be applied.
Barcelona is going to help create a collective transport identity, conduct a strategic analysis to reduce over-crowding and warn the inhabitants about gender problems, namely violence against women.
The lack of public transport is one of the main problems in Maputo and surrounding areas where almost 2 million people live.
