10,000 Brazil chickens seized in Gaza, Mozambique

The National Inspection of Economic Activities (INAE) in Gaza seized about ten thousand chicken products imported from Brazil on suspicion of being unfit for consumption.
According to Radio Mozambique, Gaza, INAE delegate Lina Muchave said that, after the main markets in urban centers in Gaza, the campaign, which is carried out by three multi-sectoral teams, would focus on retailers in the districts.
The INAE is appealing to consumers to avoid consumption of the suspect chicken brands until the Ministry of Industry and Commerce indicates otherwise.
“I want to repeat the names: it’s Brazilian chicken of Perdix, Seara, Perdigão and Sádia brands, so if you find chicken and their derivatives with theses names, please tell the INAE,” Muchave said.
