Mozambique: CCM and Dubai Chambers prepare Business Mission 2023

The Mozambique Chamber of Commerce (CCM) has met the Dubai Chambers with a view to joining forces in the preparation of the Mozambique-Dubai Business Mission, scheduled for May 2nd to 4th in Dubai this year.

The CCM is represented by the Chief Representative of Southern Africa and Head of the Dubai Chamber International Office in Mozambique, Abdulla Momade.

Dubai Chambers intends to work with the CCM in mobilizing its members and entrepreneurs in general.

“We recognize that the focus of the Mozambique Chamber of Commerce is to promote business and investment, which we have seen through the visible actions that have been developed and also because the Chamber brings together businessmen from various sectors across the country, hence we believe it is the right partner for the success of this mission that will offer from B2B, exhibition of products from Mozambique and visits to Special Zones by interested companies,” Abdulla revealed.

Teresa Muenda, General Secretary of CCM, gave a positive note to the initiative and guaranteed CCM’s commitment to the success of the mission, having also referred to the fact that “there are already members with concrete projects in the areas of agriculture and mining that will certainly have an impact on this opportunity to find partners”.

“We appreciated the explanation, especially when he said that it is another opportunity for Mozambique to expose itself to the business community of Dubai and other African markets present at the event, the support that will be given to business-to-business (B2B) contacts for entrepreneurs will be very useful for the mission to be fruitful and no be just another business trip. This is what we are looking for, as a Chamber: to offer quality solutions for business development,” Muenda said.

The parties agreed to work on logistical issues and for the mission to be a real success and bring gains to the country.
