Mozambique: Minister of Health announces massive testing at Mutua resettlement centre, leaves for Cabo Delgado – Watch

From Friday (16) to Monday (19), Armindo Tiago visits the Province of Cabo Delgado, to measure the pulse of ongoing actions in that part of the country, within the scope of Covid-19.

At the end of a two-day working visit to Sofala province, where he announced the start of massive testing at the Mutua resettlement centre, in Dondo district, because a positive case was confirmed there. Armindo Tiago was, this Thursday morning, at the Maquinino bus terminal , in the city of Beira, where he closely witnessed the work that is being carried out by the authorities and the passengers themselves in the prevention of Covid-19.

The minister taught passengers how to wash hands and use masks.

Armindo Tiago also spoke of the disinfection tunnels set up in different parts of the country.

This Thursday, Armindo Tiago visited the Covid-19 Transit Centre at the Central Hospital of Beira, learned about the ongoing works of the general hospital and also went to the epidemic treatment centre.
