UNDP backs Mozambique’s efforts for reconciliation and social cohesion through national dialogue
Renamo holds National Council in Nampula

Renamo is to hold the second ordinary session of its National Council today, 29 April, in the city of Nampula, the party announced in Maputo on Thursday.
With all eyes on the general elections of October, the event will take place under the motto ‘National Council of Victory’, Renamo spokesman José Manteigas told a press conference.
Manteigas said the session would, among other matters, review and approve a report on the activities of the National Political Commission and consider the forthcoming elections, with the focus on voter registration throughout the country.
