Mozambique: Mondlane submits draft law lowering age of majority to 18

After the Renamo party declaring itself the winner of the October 10 municipal elections in the city of Matola, with 133,059 votes, the Election Commission of the city of Matola has announced the results this Saturday.
According to the official preliminary results,
Frelimo won the Matola elections with 137,875 votes, the equivalent to 48.05%.
Renamo obtained 135,678 votes, corresponding to 47.28%.
The MDM had 11,799 votes, stands for 4.11% of the votes.
According to ww.stae.org.mz, the remaining Matola votes went to:
CAD – 449 votes, 0.16 %;
PJDM– 336 votes, 0.12%;
PDM – 318 votes, 0.11 %;
E-POVO – 309 votes, 0.11 %; and
PVM – 174 votes, 0.06 %.
Meanwhile, Sala da Paz has published the Matola ‘edital’ releaed this morning on its Facebook page (below) and it registers the number of null and blank votes as follows:
Blank votes: 2 861, 0.96%
Null votes:8 090, 2.72$
Valid votes: 286 938, 96%
Voters registered: 297 889, 100%
Disputed votes: 31
