Ivete Ângela dos Anjos Ferrão Alane is the Minister of Labour, Gender and Social Welfare.
She was previously Permanent Secretary in the now abolished State Secretariat for Youth and Employment.
Aged 48, Ivete Alane, holds a postgraduate degree in Public Administration from the Instituto Superior de Administração Pública.
In 2008, she was appointed Permanent Secretary of the Government of the Province of Niassa, a position she held until 2010, when she moved to the Ministry of Women and Social Action, where she also worked as Permanent Secretary until 2015.
From 2015 to 2020, she was Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports .
From 2020 until the date of her appointment as Minister, she served as Permanent Secretary of the Secretariat of State for Youth and Employment.
