Services & Facilities
Situated 32km south of the Zambezi River on the main North/South highway (EN1), this is perfect for an overnight stop, and a great base to explore the birds, butterflies and flora of the area. There are short walks leading from the camp through the indigenous forest, and we encourage guests to explore.
We boast over 120 different bird species, the Catapu concession features as one of Sasol’s 200 top birding sites in Southern Africa and over 280 different indigenous trees have been identified and catalogued.
As well as birds and trees, small mammals such as suni, red duiker and nyala are often seen in and around the camp.
