Accommodation
2 Two bedrooms Chalet (5 Sleeper), 3 One bedroom Chalets, Camping facilities with ablution block and a rustic shop. There are two boats for hire and canoes for guests to use in the river. The Lodge is on Municipal Electricity. There is excellent borehole water. All Chalets have on-suite flushing toilets and hot/cold showers. Hot water is supplied from Firewood-Boilers and the staff has to be advised what time the hot water is needed so that they keep the boilers warm for your showers.
There is a bar available. The restaurant serves a wide variety of fresh seafood, and typical Mozambican cuisine. There is a small swimming pool as the river is not ideal for swimming. Each chalet has a braai area.
Leisure Activities
Relaxing, the Lodge is extremely quiet and surrounded by nature.
Bird watching, canoeing, boat riding, fishing, volleyball, and relaxing in the swimming pool. The Lodge provides a transfer service for clients to Macaneta Beach and Xefina Island.
The boat takes up to 10 Passengers each time and the trip takes approximately 20 Minutes. During this trip you may see a wide variety of birds and in certain seasons one is able to see flamingos. Mangrove and reeds surround the island.
One can do water sports such as Jet skying, and also have Team building programs.
