Zimbabwe hopes to capitalise on Mozambique’s experience in implementing state-of-the-art industries for the production of electrical cables.
The intention was expressed in Maputo on Tuesday (05-04) by Zimbabwe’s President Emmerson Mnangagwa during a visit to the Electric Cable Factory in Beluluane Industrial Park, Maputo province.
The Secretary of State in Maputo province, Vitória Diogo, said that the Zimbabwean president’s visit was a great opportunity for the province to show its potential.
“As the province of Maputo, we feel privileged to have the opportunity to present what we produce. Today, we are visiting this electrical cable production company, which supplies Europe, Africa, SADC countries, in addition to Mozambique. His Excellency the President of Zimbabwe said that this is the example that Africa should set,” Vitória Diogo said.
