Zimbabwe’s Vice President, Constantino Chiwenga, met with the Vatican’s foreign minister, Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher, in Rome on Saturday.
The meeting focused on Zimbabwe’s political and socio-economic challenges, with both leaders exploring opportunities to deepen collaboration between Zimbabwe and the Catholic Church, especially in the fields of education and healthcare.
According to a statement from the Vatican, the discussions also addressed regional and global matters, highlighting a shared commitment to promoting dialogue and reconciliation among communities.
