DR Congo eyes US minerals deal by end of June, FT reports

Twenty people were killed and 48 injured in a bus accident in Zambia early Wednesday morning.
Police spokeswoman Easter Katongo told journalists that the bus fell off a cliff near the southern border with Mozambique after failing to negotiate a corner due to speeding.
“The accident happened near Luangwa Bridge at about 01.30 a.m. [2330GMT Tuesday]. The deceased are three youths, seven male adults and 10 females.”
