Zambézia: Morrumbala-Derre road cut by rains – Radio Mozambique

The road link between the districts of Morrumbala and Derre in Zambézia province, has been cut, following the rain falling there in recent days.
The outcome was confirmed by Zambézia National Roads Administration delegate Ramiro Rudia, who added that a contractor had already been mobilized to intervene.
“This road connects the districts of Morrumbala and Derre. At the moment we have no alternative other than for people to go via Morrumbala and Mipinha, but this increases the costs of moving people and goods between the districts,” he said.
