Traffic restricted on the N1 in Maputo city

Six people were killed by lightning strikes last Saturday night, in the districts of Pebane and Morrumbala, in Zambézia province.
One of the incidents killed two sisters who lived in Murerremba, west of Morrumbala.
The other incident occurred in Pebane, with four fatalities, all from the same family. There is also a record of a person who lost his sight and two houses destroyed.
These two incidents rise to 24 the cases of people who have lost their lives due to lightning strikes in Zambézia province since the rainy season began last October.
