Zambezia: Albino boy snatched from home in Molumbo

A child with pigmentation disorder (albinism) was abducted in the early hours of Sunday from the home he shared with his mother and five siblings in the district of Molumbo, Zambezia.
A gang of six criminals armed with cudgels broke into the residence and physically assaulted the minor’s mother as she screamed for help in protecting her son.
Miguel Caetano, the spokesman at the provincial Police Command of the Republic of Mozambique in Zambézia, said the whereabouts of the minor were still unknown.
Two individuals are being held in connection with the case.
