Food insecurity could affect around 3.3 million Mozambicans by March

A young man of 27 years of age committed suicide by hanging, on Saturday, in the Sangraveira neighbourhood, in the city of Quelimane, allegedly because his brother failed to pay him a debt of 90 meticais.
The uncle of the victim Alfredo Caetano, told Notícias that the act occurred on Saturday after a big fight between the deceased and his brother, where he would have threatened to take his own life were he not given back the money.
Moments after the fight, F. Caetano went away and later the family found his body hanging in the room suspended by a sheet.
According to the source cited above, the victim leaves a pregnant widow and an underage daughter.
