Weather alert: Strong winds in southern Mozambique – INAM

The National Meteorology Institute INAM is forecasting winds with gusts up to 60 kilometres per hour, causing choppy seas and waves of up to 3.5 meters in height from this afternoon (August 13) on.
The wind is expected to influence the weather mainly in coastal districts of Maputo, Gaza and Inhambane provinces.
INAM recommends taking precautionary and safety measures associated with winds of this strength.
