Weather Alert: Intense heat in Maputo and Gaza provinces

Mozambique’s National Meteorological Institute (INAM) is warning of intense heat in Maputo and Gaza provinces this Friday and Saturday, with maximum temperatures between 34 and 39 degrees Celsius.
INAM forecasts a change in the weather in both provinces on Sunday, characterised by a sharp drop in temperature, strong gusts of wind, showers, and moderate to heavy thunderstorms.
INAM recommends taking all precautionary measures in view of the risks associated with climatic conditions of this type.
