South Africa: Holgate Foundation embarks on Mozambique expedition with Land Rover Defender convoy
The National Institute of Meteorology (INAM) forecasts very hot weather today and tomorrow in Maputo and Gaza provinces, induced by a low pressure weather system.
Maximum temperatures will fluctuate between 39 and 42 degrees Celsius in both provinces.
The same system may also affect Sofala, Manica, Tete and Zambezia provinces on Sunday, with temperatures varying between 37 and 40 degrees Celsius.
INAM recommends taking precautionary measures against risks associated with high temperatures and low humidity.
