Mozambique: Three arrested for attempt to sell a pangolin say they had two, ate one
The National Institute of Meteorology (INAM) predicts the occurrence of winds with strong gusts that can reach 60 kilometres per hour, which may come along with rains and thunderstorms, from today until Sunday, in the southern region of Mozambique.
A statement from INAM, received today by AIM, points out that the phenomenon will particularly affect Maputo province and the South of Gaza province.
Therefore, INAM advises precautionary and safety measures in view of the risks associated with winds with gusts and electric discharges during lightning storms.
In previous occasions, strong winds accompanied by rains destroyed economic and social infrastructures, especially family homes of precarious construction.
