Nine Indonesian crewmen finally leave stranded LPG tanker in Mozambique
Mozambique’s National Institute of Meteorology is warning residents in the provinces of Maputo, Gaza and Inhambane to take precautionary measures due to the forecast of strong winds, of over 60 kilometres per hour from the end of the day.
In Maputo province, bad weather may reach the districts of Matutuínem Boane, Marracuene, Manhiça and the cities of Maputo and Matola.
In Gaza, may be affected hte districts of of Bilene and Mandlakazi and the city of Xai-Xai, while in Inhambane, the districts of Zavala, Inharrime, Jangamo, Homoíne, Morrumbene, Massinga and the cities of Inhambane and Maxixe may also be affected.
Winds and gusts up to 80 kilometres will influence the state of the sea at the southern end of the Mozambique Channel, with waves that can reach four meters high.
