Mozambique: May saw sharp rise in violence in Cabo Delgado - UN
The Water Company of Maputo has notified the public that a scheduled power cut will affect the Umbeluzi Water Treatment Plant and restrict water supply to Maputo, Matola and Boane on Sunday 24 and Monday 25 April, reports the Diario de Mocambique.
Annual maintenance of the Electricity of Mozambique substation in Boane “will affect the production and distribution of water on 24 and 25 April 2016”, the statement reads.
Maputo Water is appealing to all customers to help mitigate the consequences by using water sparingly over the two days.
