Mozambique: First case of mpox diagnosed in Cabo Delgado
More than 15,000 people living in the interior districts of Inhambane Province will have access to drinking water by the end of this year, following the construction of 53 new water sources.
The water table depth, coupled with the poor capacity of water pumps in existing holes, have contributed to the scarcity of this resource – the water supply level is below 50% in some rural areas.
In Niassa Province, approximately 7,000 people will have access to drinking water by the end of this year, following the opening of 23 new water supply sources.
