Rwandan forces have allegedly killed 30 militants after intense fighting in Mozambique’s northern province of Cabo Delgado. Mozambican President Filipe Nyusi has expressed his appreciation to African countries for sending armed forced to quell the insurgents. The Southern African Development Community has pledged to deploy hundreds of troops to the region.
