“Trade and cooperation between Mozambique and South Africa are under threat in the border region of Khosi Bay in South Africa’s Kwazulu-Natal province”, reads a Televisão de Moçambique report posted on TVM’s website today.
South Africans attributing murders and assaults in the area to Mozambicans placed barricades to prevent the entry of people and goods across the border at Ponta do Ouro, adds the same source.
Mozambican police spokesman in the video says the situation is now back to normal.
