Watch: Rafael reiterates PRM’s readiness to prevent and repress any attempt to disrupt public order and security

On the evening of this Sunday ( July 31), the Commander-General of the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM) addressed all of the agents of the General Command of the PRM, of the Command of the PRM- Maputo City and of the PRM – Maputo Province, standing in formation at the Rapid Intervention Unit (UIR) Barracks in Maputo city. Bernardino Rafael reiterated the combat readiness of the Police Forces to prevent and repress any attempt at demonstrations such as what has been circulating on social media, reads a communique by the Comando Geral da PRM.

Bernardino Rafael said that the formation was aimed at assessing the Forces’ level of readiness to face any attempt of demonstration and disruption of public order and security.

Bernardino Rafael guided and encouraged the force to zealously fulfil its duty to guarantee public order, security and tranquillity and the free movement of people and goods.

Therefore, Rafael guided the force to comply with the constitutional commands and of the Commander-in-Chief of the FDS.

He also gave instructions for greater vigilance in relation to obscure interests that aim to alter public order and security and the free movement of people and goods.

In the same development, he urged Mozambicans to be vigilant and denounce instigators who buy material to serve as a means of vandalising public and private goods, to question the origin of the money that is behind these evil practices aimed at buying and at making people’s minds . He noted that people must continue to work hard to raise production rates to improve the standard of living of each Mozambican and of the State in general.

In order to ensure that the Mozambicans who want to continue to develop Mozambique are able to work and to move freely, Bernardino Rafael directed the [police] force to position itself in those places prone to [be used for the] disruption of public order and security, from Rovuma to Maputo and from the Zumbo to the Indian Ocean.

Finally, Bernardino Rafael, expressed trust on and loyalty to the Commander-in-Chief of the FDS and a lot of confidence in the members of the corporation to face this and other demonstrations that could alter public order and security.

Bernardino Rafael Comandante-Geral da PRM reitera prontidão da corporação para prevenir e reprimir qualquer tentativa de alteração da ordem e segurança publica

Bernardino, Comandante-Geral da PRM, orientou na noite de hoje, dia 31 de Julho, na cidade de Maputo no Quartel da Unidade de Intervenção Rápida, uma formatura com todo o efectivo policial do Comando-Geral da PRM, Comando da PRM-Cidade de Maputo e província de Maputo onde reiterou a prontidão combativa das Forças Policiais para prevenir e reprimir qualquer tentativa de manifestações como tem sido veiculado nas redes sociais.

Bernardino Rafael, disse que aquela formatura se destinava a aferir o nível de prontidão das Forças para fazer face a quaisquer tentativa de manifestação e alteração da ordem e segurança públicas.

Bernardino Rafael, orientou e encorajou a força para cumprimento com zelo do seu dever de garantir a ordem, segurança e tranquilidade públicas e a livre circulação de pessoas e bens.

Por isso, Rafael orientou a força a cumprir os comandos constitucionais e do Comandante-Chefe das FDS.

Outrossim, orientou maior vigilância em relação a interesses obscuros que têm pretensões de alterar a ordem e segurança pública e a livre circulação de pessoas e bens.

No mesmo desenvolvimento, instou aos moçambicanos a estarem vigilantes e denunciar os instigadores que compram material para servir de meio de vandalização de bens públicos e privados, a questionar a proveniência dos dinheiros que estão por detrás destas práticas maléficas para comprar e fazer a mente das pessoas, por isso, devem continuar a trabalhar arduamente para elevar os índices de produção para melhorar o nível de vida de cada moçambicano e do Estado na generalidade.

Para garantir que os moçambicanos que querem continuar a desenvolver Moçambique possam trabalhar e circular livremente, orientou a força a se posicionar em locais propensos a alteração da ordem e segurança públicas do Rovuma ao Maputo e do Zumbo ao Indico.

Finalmente, Bernardino Rafael, manifestou confiança e lealdade ao Comandante-Chefe das FDS e muita confiança nos membros da corporação para fazer face a está e outras manifestações que possam alterar a ordem e segurança pública.
