Mozambique reinforces diplomatic solution for peace in the DRC

President Filipe Nyusi this afternoon (16-10) participated in the online forum “Investing in Africa’s Future”, jointly hosted by the Atlantic Council and the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) with the aim of promoting US trade and investment in African markets.
According to a press release from the Presidency of the Republic of Mozambique, the online session is aimed at boosting economic relations between Africa and the United States of America (USA) by attracting investments to the African continent, and to Mozambique in particular.
In addition to the Mozambican head of state, the conference panel meeting, “Conversations with African presidents”, was attended by President Macky Sall of Senegal and a representative of President Mahamadou Issoufou of the Republic of Niger, and by the DFC CEO Adam Boehler and the president and CEO of the Atlantic Council, Frederick Kempe, among others.
According to a report bought by Jornal Noticias, President Nyusi would be supported and assisted by the ministers of Agriculture and Rural Development, Celso Correia, and of Industry and Commerce, Carlos Mesquita; by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Mozambique in the USA, Carlos dos Santos, staff of the Presidency of the Republic and other State institutions.
