Frelimo president Filipe Nyusi has launched the party’s ‘Red Wave’ initiative in Zambézia, ‘O País’ reports, saying the initiative would remind Frelimo members of the need to actively seek votes for the party in the forthcoming elections.
The president of Frelimo told party members that, even given its enormous challenges, the country was on the right track, and that their party was interested in continuing to work towards the country’s development.
The Frelimo president took the opportunity to urge party members to engage enthusiastically in development initiatives of whatever kind.
