Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have met up with Nelson Mandela’s widow on their final day in South Africa.

The royal couple appeared to bristle with delight as they met up with Graca Machel in Johannesburg.

Harry previously met Graça Machel while visiting the country in 2015.

Ms Machel is a prominent politician in her own right and was also married to the first president of her homeland of Mozambique, Samora Machel, before he died in a plane crash while in office.

Both Harry and Meghan beamed during their encounter with the 73-year-old former First Lady.

The duo both have a profound respect for her late husband, who died in 2013, shown by their appearance at the Nelson Mandela Centenary Exhibition at the Southbank Centre in London last year.
