Starting this Wednesday, 13 October, Maputo city will host the 12th session of the Mozambique-Zimbabwe Joint Permanent Commission on Defence and Security.
The meeting aims to assess the degree of compliance with the consensus reached in the areas of defence, public and state security in the 11th session, and to identify new ways of acting in the fight against terrorism.
The session, to be co-chaired by the Minister of National Defence, Jaime Neto, and the Minister of State for National Security of Zimbabwe, Owen Ncube, will be preceded by a meeting of experts in matters of defence and security from both countries.
