Mozambique: 'Clear indications' terrorists have left Niassa - ANAC | Watch
TVM / The Spring Bay
An Indian-flagged ship has broken down about 14 kilometres off Guinjata Beach, Jangamo, Inhambane province, while sailing from Maputo to India, TVM reports.
The Spring Bay, described as “obsolete”, is carrying an estimated 400 tons of fuel reserves, which might constitute a danger to the environment if spilled or if the vessel remains on site too long.
The Spring Bay, built in 1980, is to be towed to Maputo for repairs. It has a crew of 15 on board.
