Cabo Delgado has surpassed its commercial cashew nut targets, selling more than 21,000 tons against the 16,000 established for the 2016-2017 season.
Better coordination between stakeholders in the process and the average price obtaining contributed to the achievement.
Mozambique hopes to recover its former position as one of the largest producers of cashew nuts in the world.
