Strong winds and thunderstorms caused three deaths and serious material damage in Maputo province’s Matola district on Friday night.
The Matola district administrator visited the sites to ascertain what had happened and show solidarity with the victims.
One of the buildings hit was the Frelimo Party Central School in Matola city, where a roof and some supporting walls collapsed.
