By the end of this academic year, the government plans to build and rehabilitate 4,029 classrooms and provide 45,400 desks across all provinces in the country.

The Minister of Education and Human Development, Carmelita Namashulua, also told parliament that 9,918 jobs would be created to guarantee hygiene in schools in the context of preventing and combating Covid-19.
