Wall collapse kills two children on their way to school – Beira, Mozambique

In Beira, Sofala, where it has been raining since the early hours of last Sunday, two children died on Tuesday when the wall of a food company collapsed. Two other children were seriously injured.

The four children were on their way home from school when the tragedy occurred.

Sofala governor Maria Helena Taipo, who paid her condolences to the bereaved families, ordered the Inspectorate of Works to investigate the cause of the incident.
