Mozambique’s minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Vitória Diogo, is in Cape Town, South Africa, to attend the meeting of ministers and social partners of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Labour and Employment Sector on 1 and 2 March.
The SADC ministerial meeting will assess the implementation of the decisions of the last meeting in 2017, adopt a statement affirming its decisions towards the effective implementation of the action programme in accordance with the SADC Regional Strategic Indicative Development Plan 2015-2020, discuss current developments in the labour market and adopt a new programme on the presidency of Namibia.
