The Ministry of Veteran’s Affairs will this year make available only 25 million meticais for financing former combatants’ projects, down from 300 million meticais last year.
Sector minister Eusébio Lambo said this Saturday in Maputo that the reduction of about seventy-five percent was the result of the economic crisis that the country is undergoing.
He was speaking on the sidelines of a meeting with the members of the Association of Sovereignty Fighters, and said that the sector would continue to work to secure combatants’ pensions and financing of projects.
