Mozambique: CTA workshop on Local Content Law

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the Industrial Association of Mozambique (AIMO) in Maputo during the inauguration ceremony of AIMO’s new governing bodies, attended by the Secretary of State for Industry, Custódia Paunde.
The agreement establishes the basis for cooperation between UNIDO and AIMO, aiming to strengthen the association’s institutional capacity and promote sustainable industrial solutions, aligned with the principles of inclusive industrialization, the use of renewable energy, and the promotion of technical innovation.
On the occasion, UNIDO reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Mozambique, through AIMO, in diversifying its production base and modernizing its industrial fabric, contributing to the creation of decent jobs, social inclusion, and economic resilience.
