Uganda’s presidential envoy Ivan Koreta was received by President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, in Pemba, Cabo Delgado, on Monday.
Koreta conveyed Uganda’s availability to help Mozambique overcome the challenges it is facing, including terrorism.
“Without a doubt, we will support each other, in whatever form. We are together. The message is one of cooperation. Cooperation between Mozambican and Ugandan veterans. This must happen,” Koreta said.
Ivan Koreta was one of a group of Ugandans who received military training in Montepuez, Mozambique.
