Mozambique: EIB provides €10M for women-led businesses - Moza Banco
A line of credit resulting from agreements signed a year ago when Prime Minister Carlos Agostinho do Rosário travelled to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, provided US$25 million to fund youth self-employment projects in Mozambique from December.
A Mozambican delegation will travel to Abu Dhabi this Wednesday to renew contacts providing access to finance.
“We had a rapprochement with financial institutions in Dubai. The Abu Dhabi Development Fund is also open to investing itself, or even providing financial resources for the implementation of agriculture projects. Tomorrow, part of our delegation will go to Abu Dhabi to refine mechanisms on how this access to Abu Dhabi Fund credit or investment can be accessed,” the prime minister said.
Also in the framework of meetings seeking investment for Mozambique, the prime minister highlighted a meeting with the director of international operations of Emirates, the United Arab Emirates airline intending to schedule services to Mozambique.
