U.S. Ambassador in Mozambique, Dean Pittman, has called for a joint effort in the search for an effective peace in Mozambique.
Pittman said that the government of the United States believes that Mozambicans can overcome their political differences and expressed its openness to support the peace process in Mozambique.
“The country depends on peace, the economy needs to have peace; everything we want to do here with all the Mozambican people is aimed at peace, and we want to support the process in any way possible,” he said.
