Two arrested in Matola for murdering their boss and hiding his body in a pit

An ambition has turned into a nightmare for two 19 and 25-year-old domestic workers.
The pair elaborated a plan to end their boss’s life and then sell his Mitsubishi Pajero in Gaza province.
The macabre venture, a week in the making, was put into effect on Friday night, and the victim’s body hidden in a pit.
Maputo police say a criminal case has already been opened against the accused, and is following the steps laid down by law.
Police said the defendants intended to sell the car for 150,000 meticais.
This is not the first case of a crime involving domestic workers.
