The Mozambique-Turkey Business Forum comes four months after Turkish president, Recep Erdogan visited Mozambique.
As a result of that tour, more than 30 Turkish entrepreneurs met with around 200 Mozambican businessmen to learn about business opportunities in the country.
Turkish investment in Mozambique currently stands at $270 million.
Agostinho Vuma, the vice president of CTA, a business organisation co-organiser of the Business Forum, believes that the arrival of Turkish entrepreneurs in Maputo will pave the way for them to share opportunities and establish partnerships with their Mozambican counterparts.
